Adjust your Steam prices for the Polish market!
Dear publisher/developer, are Polish prices of your games
adjusted to the purchasing power of Polish consumers?
Make sure they are, and that you’re not using old, outdated Valve's recommendations.
On March 27, Valve introduced new pricing recommendations, check them out!
If your Steam prices for Poland are too high, players will buy elsewhere - or not at all.

What is causing this?
Steam supports over 30 currencies and offers price recommendations so developers don’t have to set every regional price manually. At the end of March 2026, Valve updated existing recommendations and added two new ones - yet the default recommended prices for Poland remain among the highest in the world. They are higher, or only slightly lower, than recommendations for much wealthier countries. Only 4 currencies (GBP, EUR, NOK, ILS) have higher default recommendations.
Many developers and publishers still use outdated, unfair recommendations because updating them requires manual action.
Furthermore, the default recommended prices for countries much wealthier than Poland (Switzerland, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand) are lower than for Poland!
We encourage you to adjust your prices to the purchasing power of Polish consumers. Even Valve acknowledges it's low - as proven by one of the newly added conversion tiers based on actual Polish purchasing power.
If your Steam prices are too high, customers will buy elsewhere - or not at all.

Dear developer/publisher,
adjust your price for the Polish gamers!
If you want to increase your sales in Poland, adjust your PLN price to match the purchasing power of Polish customers. Review the two recommendations recently added by Valve - one is based on USD/PLN exchange rate, and the other on the actual purchasing power of Polish consumers - and set a fair price. Many developers and publishers have done it already, including CDPR, Obsidian, Supergiant Games, Annapurna Interactive, Kepler Interactive, Techland, Microprose, Bethesda, Secret Mode, Hooded Horse, Moon Studios, New Blood Interactive, Asobo, Running With Scissors, Raw Fury, indie.io, Akupara Games, Aggro Crab and many others.
