Adjust your Steam prices for the Polish market!
Dear publisher/developer, are Polish prices of your games
adjusted to the purchasing power of Polish consumers?
Make sure they are, and that you’re not using old, outdated Valve's recommendations.
On March 27, Valve introduced new methods of setting regional prices, check them out!
If your Steam prices for Poland are too high, players will buy elsewhere - or not at all.
The 30-day cooldown applies to a PRICE INCREASE, not a decrease!
You can lower the price even if the game is currently discounted.

What is causing this?
Steam supports 37 currencies and offers developers tools to manage regional prices, so that they don’t have to set every regional price manually. At the end of March 2026, Valve updated regional pricing settings and introduced 3 conversion methods - yet according to the default Multi-Variable Conversion method Polish prices remain among the highest in the world. Only 4 currencies have higher default prices: GBP, EUR, NOK, ILS. Default MVC prices on countries much wealthier than Poland (Switzerland, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand) are lower than in Poland!
Many developers and publishers still use unfair prices because they never updated them.
We encourage you to adjust your prices to the purchasing power of Polish consumers. Even Valve acknowledges that our purchasing power is low - according to the newly added conversion method based on actual purchasing power, Polish prices should be 52% of USD prices, but in reality they are 118% of USD prices.
If your Steam prices are too high, customers will buy elsewhere - or not at all.
Current PLN to USD exchange rate:
~4.27 PLN
This is the value of 1 USD,
when default conversion method is used.
Dear developer/publisher,
adjust your price for the Polish gamers!
If you want to increase your sales in Poland, adjust your PLN price to match the purchasing power of Polish customers. Review the two recommendations recently added by Valve - one is based on USD/PLN exchange rate, and the other on the actual purchasing power of Polish consumers - and set a fair price. Many developers and publishers have done it already, including CDPR, Obsidian, Supergiant Games, Annapurna Interactive, Kepler Interactive, Techland, Microprose, Bethesda, Secret Mode, Hooded Horse, Moon Studios, New Blood Interactive, Asobo, Running With Scissors, Raw Fury, indie.io, Akupara Games, Aggro Crab and many others.

They Polished Our Prices - have you?
